Data breach settlements
A data breach settlement pays people whose personal information was exposed when a company was hacked. Payouts usually come in two tiers: a small flat amount for anyone who files, and reimbursement of documented losses — often up to $2,500 to $25,000 — for people who can prove fraud, bank fees, or time spent fixing the damage. Each settlement below shows its payout range, its claim deadline, and whether the money has actually been distributed.
25 settlements tracked — 1 open for claims, 24 closed. Last updated: 2026-08-03

Closed data breach settlements — payout status
The claim window has closed for these, but the questions have not: each page explains what the settlement paid, when checks went out, and how to tell a real payout notice from a scam.
