Frequently asked questions
Is the $50 payment guaranteed?
No. It is an estimate and may be adjusted proportionally based on the money remaining after administration, legal fees and costs, service awards, monitoring and approved documented-loss claims.
Can I request both payment types?
The current official FAQ says class members may choose one or both payment types. Its cash-payment explanation explicitly describes that payment as available in addition to documented-loss reimbursement. Follow the current claim form and ask Kroll about your particular claim.
What proof is required?
Documented-loss claims require reasonable records such as credit card or bank statements, invoices, telephone records and receipts. Certain monitoring purchases also require a sworn statement explaining why they were bought. The FAQ says no documentation is required for the alternate cash payment or monitoring. A documented-loss claim lacking sufficient evidence that is not cured is treated as an alternate-cash claim.
When will payments arrive?
The official FAQ gives no fixed payment date. Distribution depends on final approval and resolution of any appeals. The scheduled November 16, 2026 hearing is not a promised payment date.
