Highlands Oncology Settlement: File by October 22

Last updated: October 16, 2026

The Highlands Oncology settlement offers eligible U.S. individuals $50 in alternative cash or reimbursement of documented losses up to $4,250, plus an optional three years of medical data monitoring. Submit your claim online by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 22, 2026, or mail it through USPS postmarked by October 22. Eligibility depends on your private information being compromised in the June 2025 data breach.

Choose one cash option; you cannot receive both $50 and loss reimbursement. The settlement pays valid claims rather than dividing a fixed common fund, and Highlands separately pays administration and court-approved fees and service awards. Benefits require a valid signed claim and final approval; no payment arrival date is guaranteed.

Who qualifies

  • The class covers individuals residing in the United States whose private information was compromised in the Highlands Oncology data breach on or around June 2025. Receiving care there alone does not establish that your information was affected.
  • Excluded are Highlands directors and officers, governmental entities, the assigned judge, the judge’s immediate family and court staff. People who requested exclusion should not submit a claim.
  • For loss reimbursement, claim actual, unreimbursed out-of-pocket monetary losses caused by incident-related fraud or identity theft. The current form covers losses from June 2, 2025 through October 22, 2026. Attach receipts, invoices, bank statements or other third-party records; your own explanation alone is insufficient.
  • The $50 alternative does not require loss documents, but you must submit a timely valid claim attesting to class membership. Submit one form per person, select any monitoring benefit you want, and sign your own certification.

Frequently asked questions

How much can I receive from the Highlands Oncology settlement?

An eligible claimant can choose a $50 alternative cash payment OR reimbursement of qualifying documented losses up to $4,250. Optional three-year medical data monitoring can be combined with either cash option. A signed valid claim and final approval are required.

What is the Highlands Oncology claim deadline?

Submit online by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 22, 2026, or mail the official paper form through USPS postmarked no later than October 22. The form’s specific paper-filing instruction and the settlement agreement use the postmark rule.

Who qualifies for the Highlands Oncology data settlement?

The class covers U.S. residents whose private information was compromised in the Highlands Oncology data breach on or around June 2025, subject to the stated exclusions. Being a patient alone is insufficient; ask the administrator to check your status if you are unsure.

Do I need receipts to claim the $50 payment?

Loss receipts are not required for the $50 alternative. You still need to provide the requested claim information and certify your class membership. Loss reimbursement up to $4,250 requires third-party documentation of actual unreimbursed incident-related losses.

Do I need a Login ID and PIN?

The Highlands online portal requires the Login ID and PIN from your notice. The paper form asks for your Login ID and tells you to contact the administrator if you do not know it. Mailing a form is not an established way to bypass identification.

Is the monitoring ordinary credit monitoring?

The benefit is three years of CyEx Medical Shield Complete, a medical data monitoring service. It includes monitoring for health-insurance and medical-record identifiers and unauthorized Health Savings Account spending, with medical identity-theft insurance and fraud-resolution support. Select it on the claim form if you want to enroll.

When will Highlands Oncology settlement payments arrive?

No guaranteed arrival date is announced. Benefits depend on final approval, the settlement becoming effective and validation of your claim. Follow the administrator’s updates and activation instructions rather than treating a court hearing date as a payment date.
