SeatGeek Nevada ticket fee settlement: file by January 5

Last updated: October 13, 2026

SeatGeek's $7.75 million settlement offers eligible ticket buyers a cash payment based on fees SeatGeek retained. It covers electronic tickets for Nevada events bought through SeatGeek's website or app from November 7, 2020 through May 12, 2025, with fees charged. File online by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on January 5, 2027, or mail a claim postmarked by that date.

Payments vary; the full fund also pays approved fees, costs and administration. The agreement provides a separate $15 payment for approved class members whose retained fees are zero or negative after refunds, chargebacks or similar adjustments. Nevada residency is not required: the event must have been in Nevada.

Who qualifies

  • You purchased electronic tickets to an event in Nevada through seatgeek.com or the SeatGeek mobile app from November 7, 2020 through May 12, 2025, and were charged fees.
  • Eligibility follows the event location, not your home state. Purchases for events outside Nevada do not qualify for this settlement.
  • The class excludes the presiding judges and their families, SeatGeek and specified related entities and personnel, class counsel, valid opt-outs, and specified representatives, successors and assigns of excluded people. Read the official notice for the full exclusions.
  • A refund or chargeback does not by itself exclude an otherwise eligible buyer. The agreement sets a $15 payment for approved class members whose individual retained fees are zero or negative; this is not a universal minimum payment.
  • You must submit a complete, truthful claim and personally sign its declaration under penalty of perjury. The administrator may audit and verify claims.

How to file a SeatGeek Nevada settlement claim

  1. 1

Check your event and purchase dates

Confirm that you bought electronic tickets for a Nevada event through SeatGeek's website or app within the class period and were charged fees. Read the official notice and exclusions before claiming.

  2. 2

    Choose online or paper filing

Online filing requires the LoginID and PIN in your notice. If you cannot find them, contact the administrator with your full name and mailing address. You can also download the paper claim form; it asks for your Login ID only if known.

  3. 3

    Complete your own declaration

Provide the required contact details, review the eligibility and non-assignment statements, then sign and date your claim. The paper form does not ask you to attach ticket receipts, but your claim remains subject to verification. ClaimBee helps you discover settlements and review deadlines; you must confirm eligibility and sign personally.

  4. 4

    Submit by January 5, 2027

File online by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, or mail your signed form postmarked by January 5 to the address printed on the official form. Keep your submission confirmation or mailing record. Paper claims pay by check; use online filing to select Venmo, PayPal or Zelle.

Frequently asked questions

Who qualifies for the SeatGeek Nevada settlement?

Individuals who bought electronic tickets for Nevada events through seatgeek.com or the SeatGeek app from November 7, 2020 through May 12, 2025, and were charged fees, may qualify. The official notice lists exclusions. Buying a ticket through a different seller or for an event outside Nevada does not meet this class definition.

Do I have to live in Nevada?

No. The SeatGeek settlement definition is based on tickets for events in Nevada, not Nevada residency. You must still meet the purchase dates, SeatGeek website or app, fee and other class requirements.

How much will the SeatGeek settlement pay?

For approved claimants with positive retained fees, the agreement calculates a fee-weighted share of the available settlement fund after approved deductions. The percentage uses fees retained for all class members, not just successful claimants. There is no confirmed standard payout or promise of a full fee refund.

What is the separate $15 payment?

The agreement provides $15 for an approved class member whose retained out-of-pocket fees are zero or negative because of refunds, chargebacks or similar adjustments. The buyer must originally have been charged fees on a qualifying purchase and submit an approved claim. Other claimants are not guaranteed at least $15.

What is the SeatGeek claim deadline?

Submit online by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on January 5, 2027, or mail the completed claim form postmarked by January 5, 2027. Use the administrator's current form and filing instructions.

Can I file without my SeatGeek settlement LoginID or PIN?

The online form requires both credentials. Contact the administrator if you cannot find them. The paper form is an alternative and asks for Login ID only if known; you must still qualify, complete the required information and sign your own declaration under penalty of perjury.

When will SeatGeek settlement payments arrive?

The settlement requires court approval and an approved claim before payment. No specific arrival date is promised. Check the official administrator's website for payment updates rather than relying on a fixed date or estimated check amount.
