O'Reilly Text Message Settlement: Eligibility and $22 Claim
Last updated: September 8, 2026
O'Reilly Automotive's text message settlement offers up to $22 per person for valid claims submitted by September 28, 2026. It covers certain repeated texts to reassigned U.S. phone numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry between April 15, 2021 and June 29, 2026. Payments may be reduced proportionally.
The lawsuit alleges violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act; O'Reilly denies wrongdoing. A purchase from O'Reilly during the 18 months before the texts may cause your claim to be denied. The approximately $18.84 million overall cap includes claims, legal fees and administration, so it is not all money payable to claimants.

Who qualifies
- You are a person in the United States whose phone number received more than one text from or on behalf of O'Reilly within a 12-month period between April 15, 2021 and June 29, 2026.
- The texts must have arrived after the phone provider reassigned the number to you. The number must have been on the National Do Not Call Registry for at least 30 days before the qualifying texts.
- The phone number must appear in the case's calling records. If you did not receive a notice but think you qualify, ask the administrator to check your name and number.
- An online or in-store O'Reilly purchase in the 18 months preceding the texts may lead to denial of your claim. Receiving any unwanted O'Reilly text is not enough on its own.
- Submit only one claim per member per phone number. Members who opt out receive no payment; the official notice explains the separate exclusion process and legal rights.

Frequently asked questions
How much does the O'Reilly text settlement pay?
An approved timely claim can receive up to $22 per person. The amount may be reduced proportionally; $22 is not a guaranteed payment.
Does one O'Reilly text qualify me?
No. The class requires more than one text within a 12-month period, plus the number-reassignment, Do Not Call registration and date requirements. The number must also be in the case records.
Can an O'Reilly purchase affect my claim?
Yes. The administrator says an online or in-store purchase during the 18 months before the texts may cause your claim to be denied.
How do I file without a Claim ID?
The online form requires the Claim ID from your notice. If you did not receive one, contact Kroll at 833-930-0257 and provide your name and phone number so the administrator can check whether you qualify.
What is the O'Reilly settlement deadline?
Submit the claim online or postmark the paper claim by September 28, 2026. The separate opt-out and objection deadlines are October 6, 2026.
When will O'Reilly settlement payments be sent?
