Mercedes-Benz AEM Settlement: Claim the $2,000 Incentive

Who qualifies

• Your vehicle must be one of the specified Mercedes-Benz BlueTEC II or Mercedes-Benz/Freightliner Sprinter BlueTEC II diesel models in the official list. Model and model year both matter; a Mercedes badge alone does not establish eligibility.
• Covered passenger models include E250, E350, GL320, GL350, GLE300d, GLE350d, GLK250, ML250, ML320, ML350, R320, R350 and S350 BlueTEC in specified model years between 2009 and 2016. Sprinter coverage is 2014–2016 for four-cylinder vehicles and 2010–2016 for six-cylinder vehicles. Check the administrator's exact model-year list.
• The eligible vehicle must have received its AEM at an authorized Mercedes-Benz or Freightliner Sprinter dealer during August 1, 2023–August 31, 2026. A new installation after August 31 does not meet this incentive's published deadline.
• Current and former owners and lessees may qualify. The program covers eligible vehicles registered in the United States; eligibility does not depend on which U.S. state or territory you live in.
• Vehicles modified before August 1, 2023, installations outside the authorized dealer network, and vehicles that already received the prior $2,000 AEM incentive do not qualify for this payment.

How to file a Mercedes-Benz AEM incentive claim

   Check the completed repair

   Match your vehicle and model year to the official FAQ. Check that your final repair order records an eligible AEM installation by August 31, 2026. The September claim deadline does not extend the installation deadline.

   Prepare the documents and notice

   Use your current title, bill of sale if you no longer own the vehicle, or current/former lease agreement, together with the final repair order. Find the notice's Unique ID and PIN. If the notice is missing, call the administrator at 888-865-4540.

3. 3

   Submit online by September 30

   Open the official claim portal with all files ready: it does not let you save an incomplete claim and return later. Upload readable copies, no larger than 20MB per file, and complete the claim. The portal lists the accepted file formats, including PDF, JPG and PNG.

4. 4

   Keep the confirmation
